um. I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I have little to no interest in having awkward conversations with many of the people I knew in high school. I discovered a few years ago that I have an immense passion for music. As a matter of fact, it seems like it's taken over my entire life. All of my conversations seem to revolve around music. If I deem you like terrible music, and you're a complete douche bag about your crappy taste in music, I probably will stop talking to you, and we will not be friends. I know it sounds pretentious. On the other hand, I'm always open to new music. I'll listen to anything once. I'd like to think I'm open minded about music. Just don't be a twat.

I could list more, but I feel like this is a pretty accurate example of stuff I like. That's not to say that I limit myself to these bands or bands that sound like these bands. Actually, I have a compilation of traditional Japanese instrumental music that I love, and it's in constant rotation with my Mulatu Astatke and Nomo.
